The other day, I was wondering, “Why does the chances of experiencing a spell of dizziness or vertigo increases with the age.”
Studies reflect that older people are more vulnerable to dizziness and vertigo than younger people.
But, why?
I know that dizziness and vertigo occur because of reduced supply of oxygen and other nutrients to the brain. In fact, dizziness is the natural reaction of our body to diminished supply of oxygen to the brain. When we feel dizzy then we invariably lie down horizontally-a position that allows more supply of blood to the brain. In other words, both-dizziness and vertigo-are our body’s natural way of telling, “Hey! Brain needs more oxygen than it is getting.”
But, what this has to do with the old age.
There is a relation between old age and dizziness, and I’ll explain what it is.
You see, as we grow older the muscles around our breathing passages tends to get weaker, and as a result, we don’t inhale the amount of air we otherwise should inhale. Less intake of air means that less oxygen is available to our blood cells.
In addition to this, stiff or tense neck muscles also play a defining role in dizziness and vertigo. By nature, neck muscles are supposed to help our heart in pumping blood into the brain. However, when the neck muscles are stiff or tense, they do the just opposite-they prevent the smooth flow of blood towards the brain. So, not only we inhale less oxygen, whatever oxygen we breathe also does not reaches the brain, as it should.
Further, to make matter worse, improper positioning of the head over the neck also impedes the smooth flow of blood towards the brain. To stay upright, we depend on harmony between the balance system in our ears and eyes. Improper positioning of the head, even for relatively small period, disturbs this balance and can lead to dizziness and vertigo.
Treat dizziness and vertigo naturally
It is quite well known that allopathic drugs have not recorded much success in treating dizziness and vertigo. However, still a high number of individuals-nearly 40% of all dizziness and vertigo patients-choose to opt for a treatment that fails to give them any lasting freedom from these two disorders.
In truth, dizziness and vertigo can be treated easily by addressing the root cause, which is the lack of supply of oxygen to the brain. The exercises included in my Vertigo And Dizziness Program addresses the root cause of these two disorders and provides everlasting freedom from the both disorders.
My Vertigo And Dizziness Program cures dizziness and vertigo by relaxing the muscles around the breathing passages and removing the tension around the neck muscles. In other words, my Vertigo And Dizziness Program not only allows you to inhale more oxygen, but also improves the flow of blood towards the brain.
