Are You Living with High Blood Pressure?

If there is one health issue many people around the world live with, it’s got to be high blood pressure. In fact, queries related to high blood pressure are extremely common on the web. Health experts are seen advising and giving suggestions to handle high blood pressure through their blogs. In short, abnormal blood pressure is one of the most unpleasant issues the modern world faces.

Another reason for the high concern about high blood pressure is that it triggers many other health problems. People with consistently high blood pressure are at a higher risk of facing heart attacks or strokes. Cancer in various forms may also result from high blood pressure. Erectile dysfunction and reduced sexual performance too have high blood pressure as one of their root causes.

Other severe problems like depression and headaches stem from abnormally high blood pressure. People living with this condition are generally unhappy in life and unproductive at work.

Dealing with high blood pressure requires a person to follow some good rules. Here are some useful measures to get rid of high blood pressure:

Good Diet

Fresh fruits and vegetables are recommended for people facing high blood pressure on a regular basis. Vegetable juices too are highly effective in keeping the blood pressure at a normal level. Refined salt and beverages are two things that must be strictly avoided in the diet. High fat food like meat should also be restricted. Using coconut oil for cooking is one good step towards maintaining normal blood pressure.

Trust the Supplements

Health experts recommend supplements containing vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin B3 and vitamin B6 to help high blood pressure patients. Among the minerals, zinc, potassium, magnesium, calcium, and selenium are helpful in dealing with high blood pressure. Additionally, supplements with amino acids like tryptophan, taurine and cysteine are recommended to lower high blood pressure.

Useful Herbs

Garlic is a wonder herb and is very effective in dealing with high blood pressure. Maitake and Reishi, olive leaves and hawthorn berries are other herbs that a patient suffering from high blood pressure should take on a regular basis.

Good Lifestyle

Smoking and alcohol consumption are two bad habits that certainly lead to high blood pressure, and breaking free from such habits should help improve the condition. Following an exercise routine, losing weight, and indulging in other activities will help as well.

Combat high blood pressure at the very beginning before it becomes too late to control the situation.

Can you do an article on Fibromyalgia? I have Fibro and to put it bluntly, it sucks. I would like to see more info out there for people who are unaware of it along with some good tips for some relief. I use a tens unit and I also use a cervical traction unit, oh yeah and whirlpool baths and pain pills and muscle relaxers too! UGH. Thanks, Renee

    Hi Christian,
I read all of your articles carefully. It is true I didn’t give feed back yet. Regardding snoring program -If I don’t wake up middlle of the night ,does it mean snoring stop?

I have a problem of my sister who had stroke about 3 yrs ago and paralysed left side. Fotunately brain is in very good shape. Lot of therapy done earlier. Now she doesn’t go to therapist and have no interest to do. But she does lot of works except therapy. Now problem is she loves eating that she didn’t have before. It looks sometimes unpleasant and getting fat. she doesn’t want to buy she is really fat. I think it is a chance of another disaster.
Do you think couple of spoons apple cider vinegar drinking with water ok to her? She doesn’t have cholesterol, high blood pressure or sugar.

    Please advise.

    Regards,
    Dipali
