Out of the Park Plaque

Monday, September 6th, 2010

Do you have a buildup of plaque?  Do you know?  Did you know that plaque can build up in your arteries just like on your teeth?  We’re talking about plaque built up in your bloodstream here….so teeth plaque you can feel, but cholesterol plaque you cannot because it’s hidden in your arteries.  You’d likely know about your bloodstream cholesterol plaque when you have a heart attack….when it’s too late.

Consider what popular food transformations have been in the news recently- such as the cheeseburger whose buns made of bread have been replaced by DONUTS. There wasn’t enough sugar in the white bread version? These are popping up all over sporting events and elsewhere…turning exciting pastimes into a heart attack-in-waiting.

So what exactly is cholesterol plaque?  Cholesterol plaque is a waxy hard thick substance that (in excess) can build up on the walls of your arteries.  This waxy substance is the result of excess quantities of LDL (the bad cholesterol). When there’s too much buildup of LDL cholesterol plaque, the artery walls become constricted and hardened.  Constriction of the arteries will cause the blood to not flow at the normal rate.  Slow flowing blood can cause a heart attack or stroke.

You’re probably asking yourself what you can do naturally to limit the amount of LDL bad cholesterol in your body.  The answer largely concerns diet and exercise.  Today we’ll visit the subject of LDL cholesterol and your diet.

And it’s in pretty much EVERYTHING!

I answered that we actually gave it too much weight in our guide. We mentioned it once. In the next edition we’re going to take it completely out.

The answer was pretty harsh so now I owe this customer and you a little explanation.

Many people in closed-in areas have limited space availability, limited water, or both.  Some people work so many hours trying to stay caught up that gardening just isn’t practical. However, there are some things that you can do easily with limited resources to have fresh veggies and herbs, grown by you, that have great health benefits. (more…)

Friday, March 12th, 2010

Research has proven that changing your lifestyle and using natural remedies with ingredients such as red yeast and fish oils, have shown to lower cholesterol.  This are also more effect than the common medicine your doctor will prescribe you.

Statin drugs are classified as a movement of HMG-CoA.  HMG-CoA takes responsibility of the construction of cholesterol. Research has shown that there are more ways than just statin drugs to decrease the level of cholesterol.

One recent test has shown that 74 persons who have high cholesterol, some of the participants were given statin treatment drugs and the remaining part of the participants were given a natural treatment that included fish oils, and red yeast rice.
